21 Things I Wish I Knew When I Was 21.” These lessons have been pivotal in my journey

Celebrating my 33th Birthday Today  Udit Jain !

Sharing “21 Things I Wish I Knew When I Was 21.” These lessons have been pivotal in my journey:

1.Take big risks

I took the biggest risk of my life at age 40. I started coaching Think & Grow Rich when I myself was flat Broke ! Unconventional. Non-Confirming. Unprecedented. This One Decision transformed my life.

2.Enjoy the journey

I was running after success. Failing. Not Feeling Accomplished. I now know that Success is not a destination. Success is a journey. I am Enjoying every moment of it.

3.Family first

I lost my Dad at age 66. I loved him a lot. I regret that he could not see my current success. You never have enough time. Always ! Always! Always! keep Family First. Both Quality & Quantity Time.

  1. Giving v/s Trading

When I used to Give, I always focused on getting. I was so stupid. I realized that when you Give, You Just give. Don’t Trade.

  1. Character v/s Reputation

I was always worried about my Reputation. However, Character is more important. With a Strong Character, You cannot have a bad Reputation. Focus on Building Character. Reputation Gets Build Automatically.

  1. Selling is Serving

A Salesman for me was a half bald man, wearing a tie and trying to sell me a Vacuum Cleaner. I realized that Selling is Serving. The More You Sell, the More you Serve & vice versa.

  1. Competition is BS

There is nothing like Competition. I started to go the extra mile, improving my abilities. I eliminated & terminated my competition. Amateurs Compete. Professional Create.

8.Less is More

In My Quest of Self-Realization, I realized that there is no end in accumulation and gathering of material things. Embracing Minimalism I am now experiencing bliss.

  1. Earning Money is an Exact Science

The amount of money you earn is in direct proportion to the Demand for what you do, your ability to do it and the difficulty to replace you. Every day I improvise on my ability. Period.

10.The Best Investment to do is in Yourself

Hetal & Me literally used our last emergency fund to invest in coaching and training programs. The only way it gets better for you is when you get better.

11.You Cannot Give Enough

I was always conservative while giving value. What a dumb fool I was ! I realized that you cannot give enough. Because when you give, you have to receive. You cannot avoid it !

12.Money Talks, Wealth Whispers

I loved to brag and show-off my rich toys in my youth. I realized that Fast & Quick Money makes lot of noise. But Enduring Richness & Wealth creates a legacy.

13.Listening v/s Hearing

Having Degrees across my visiting card, I was always the smart person around having answers for every question. I never listened. I only heard to reply. I realized that you hear with your ears, but you listen with your emotions.

  1. Persistence Beats Talent

Had I Given up after Zero Sales in 7 Successive offline Training Programs, Had I given up after a streak of losses for the first few months of going online, I would not have built a million dollar industry in the coaching and training space.

  1. Perfection is the Enemy of Good

I procrastinated in every area of my life. I want to make it the best. I want to have the best. In my quest of being best, I sacrificed being Good. Remember, First Standardize then Optimize.

  1. Stretch v/s Tear

After attending Hundreds of Motivation Programs, and reading hundreds of books on success, I realized that motivation gets you make crazy goals which break you down. I now have my optimum range of goals that avoid breakdowns. Remember Stretch your Comfort Zone. Don’t Tear it !

17.Craving v/s Aversion

Emotions rule our life. Either we are craving for positive emotions. Or Trying to Averse Negative Emotions. Either ways You will end in Misery. The Secret lies in maintaining Equanimity.

  1. The Golden Rule

Do Unto Others as you would have them do unto you. I just did lip-service of this rule. Never Implemented. Never Got results. But once I started to apply the Golden Rul every moment of my life, Results Sky-rocketed.

  1. Stop Worrying what People think About you

No one is thinking about you. In fact, other people are thinking what you are thinking about them. Now Criticism Never Stops me. I take Massive Consistent Actions.

  1. Know Thyself. The Truth Will Set You Free

I was very clever. Trying to change others. Now I am embracing Wisdom. Remember, Clever People Try to change the world. Wise people try to change themselves

21.Embracing Bliss is Simple

When you align yourself with Natural laws and follow them, You can achieve and manifest anything in life. Beyond Materialistic Goals of Financial Freedom. You can achieve True Enlightenment.

Which one resonates with you? Let me know in the reply.
